Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A name or case number entered in a search tool is sent directly to the outside provider that operates that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its results. Refugio County Court Docket does not retain or record those search terms on its own systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email sent to the site may be kept long enough to review and answer it. The message is not shared beyond the organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Data We Gather Automatically
Routine server records may capture these technical details when a page loads:
- The IP address assigned to your device
- Which browser you are using and its version
- Your device type and operating system
- The pages you visited and how long you stayed on each
- The site that sent you here, if any
- Timestamps for each page view
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files saved on a device. They help show aggregate patterns, such as popular pages and where visits end. Analytics providers may assist with that measurement. A browser can block cookies, although some site functions may then work differently.
What We Do With This Data
- Keeping the site up, running, and loading quickly
- Sending your search requests to the right partner service
- Figuring out which pages people find useful and which need work
- Tracking down and fixing technical issues
- Showing ads that may line up with your interests
No Court-Record Data on File
Refugio County Court Docket does not host, maintain, compile, or sell a database of court dockets or personal case information. It provides general directions to the District Clerk, County Clerk, Texas trial courts, and re:SearchTX. The Texas Public Information Act does not automatically govern access to documents filed in a judicial case, and Texas Rule of Judicial Administration 12 addresses judicial administrative records rather than serving as a case-file request rule. Visitor data is not assembled into consumer reports or third-party profiles, and the site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies power search boxes that appear on some pages. Their privacy terms, retention rules, and sharing practices govern information entered there. Those practices are beyond this site's control, so review the provider's policy before submitting a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Refugio County clerk pages, Texas court resources, re:SearchTX, legal-aid organizations, or other services. Once a visitor leaves this site, the destination's privacy policy applies. Review it before providing personal information.
Advertising providers may use their own systems to measure activity across websites and select interest-based ads.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal data is not sold. Limited information may be available to:
- Search partners that handle queries you run on our site
- Analytics services we use to track traffic and performance
- Ad networks that place ads on our pages
- Law enforcement or government bodies when a valid legal order requires it
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable security measures are used to protect collected information. No internet service can guarantee perfect security, so the site cannot promise that unauthorized access will never occur.
Users Under 18
The service is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. Notice that a minor supplied information will prompt a deletion review.
Your Data Rights
Rights may vary by place of residence and applicable Texas or other privacy and consumer-protection laws. At a minimum, a visitor may:
- Ask for a copy of what we have on file about you
- Have us fix information that is wrong
- Request that we erase your data
- Opt out of certain kinds of data processing
